It was created based on the "T-103 Tyrant" fromĀ Resident Evil 2, with the parasitic organism "NE-Ī±" implanted within its body to form a secondary brain, enhancing its intelligence and regenerative capabilities. This improved upon the common flaw of T-virus bio-weapons, which were "lacking in intelligence and difficult to control," while retaining their original terrifying power.
